My Week At Hedo For Kamasutra Week 2014

Where to begin?  Am I grinning from ear to ear while writing this J.  We are DJ and Deena but best known as MrnMz BHaven. This was our very first trip to Hedo, we served as guest co-hosts for Kamasutra week.  We were granted this amazing opportunity by winning an online contest sponsored by AVP….look out for more upcoming contests!

Check-in: AVP ensured that all guests were transported from Montego Bay airport to the resort in a safe and efficient manner.  The hour long drive was scenic and provided a true glimpse of the Jamaican culture.  Before guests can put their bags down, you are met by an open-armed and smiling Lady Dee, Sarge is nearby standing tall and welcoming you with his distinct accent.  Okuson the sales/marketing manager of AVP is present and ready to solve any problems. With some rum punch in hand, get your room key, pick-up an AVP gift bag and the Hedo experience begins!

 

Amenities: The photos that you see on online truly do not encompass the beauty of the property.  Lush foliage, countless pools/hot tubs, the open air pavilion, a Hibachi style and Italian restaurant, spacious cabanas with sheer linen curtains, ample beach chairs, calm bay waters, etc.

Food:  The selection and quality of food available morning, noon, night and late-night far exceeded our expectations.  Plenty of fresh fruit/veggies, high quality meats (lobster, Snapper, Grouper, the famous Jerked chicken), tasty desserts and an unlimited flow of premium alcohol!  Surprisingly neither of us gained any weight all week, but that was probably due to all the dancing and “cardio” J.

Rooms:  We stayed in a Garden View Room on the prude side, fresh paint, new linens, large flat-screen TV, ample storage room, easy access to all resort amenities…..no complaints whatsoever. Aside from sleeping 4-5 hrs per night and several showers per day, we were never in our room.  We did get a personal tour of a premium room (cough J cough…via Lady Dee and Sarge), the materials and finish are top notch and mimic that of a very modern/contemporary hotel.  So whatever your budget and tastes are, you are certain to find adequate lodging at Hedonism Resort.

Guest Celebrities:  Nina Hartley, perhaps the most influential adult performer and sex educator in history taught a class every morning with a different topic each day.  Her personality, knowledge and delivery of the material was warm, witty and calming.  I cannot emphasize how amazing she is; Nina actually initiated casual conversations with guests outside of her classes and participated in the weekly events!  My personal highlight was her using my wife as a volunteer for the BDSM class, I was thinking: “Holy shit, Nina Hartley is spanking my wife’s ass!  That visual will forever be in my “spank bank!”

 

Who could forget the larger than life presence of Michael and Holli (Pockets) from Playboy’s Swing TV reality show and their famous daily Swing podcast on Playboy Radio www.playboyradio.com.  Michael is so friendly and outgoing, he spoke to everyone and shows a genuine interest in others, I knew from watching the Swing TV show that Michael was in great shape, I am in pretty good shape myself but he is huge and jacked in person!  Holli…..well, I caught myself starring at her in awe a few times, she is drop dead gorgeous, like the pages of a Playboy magazine in real life!  If you have not already done so, you MUST listen to their podcasts….for free!  So informative and they embody what “Living Sexy” truly means.

Hedo Staff:  Talk about the epitome of talent, energy and friendliness…the Entertainment Coordinators all have Vegas/Broadway appeal!  Every daytime activity and evening show was phenomenal!  We spent plenty of time laughing, joking and conversing with Winston, Fabian, Adrian, Diane and even former EC “Fifty” made an appearance!  The EC’s are truly what distinguishes Hedo from any resort in the world….we LOVE all those guys and girls!  Also Tyson the gym manager is a RIOT, he had me crying tears on several occasions as we ate lunch together.

 

 

The chefs at the nude pool grill are hilarious and work extremely hard even very late at night.  The servers and bartenders actually remember your name!  After 1-2 days, they know exactly what your favorite drink is, where you like to sit and go out of their way to ensure your every need is met.  It’s a shame tipping them is discouraged, they have set the bar so high when it comes to service!

Events:  There were SO many events and activities, it is difficult to name all of them!  There was a massive amount of work, planning and execution involved to ensure the events appealed to the masses and that there was something for everyone to do at all times of the day/night!

 

I could write for days about all the events but I will just speak on a few, you really need to book an AVP event to experience all the glory firsthand.  AVP bought out neighboring Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville….YES they took over the iconic restaurant and made it an all-inclusive, clothing optional party!  Naked women getting lathered up in the foam pit, topless women riding the mechanical bull (rumor has it that there is video footage of the voluptuous Lady Dee on the bull is circulating on social media…hint hint), naked 69 body shots on the bar….and a few more activities that you will simply need to attend to see J.

Other notable events: The Piano Bar Ice-breaker…..naked ladies dancing to live music on a piano…use your imagination!  The Mr. Mixologist drink contest…..awesome….who doesn’t want to sample a drink name Pretty Pink P?  Lingerie night….or a lack thereof!  Luau Party and bonfire on the beach….HOT!  Numerous pool parties and night club events….this list goes on and on!  Bottomline….reading about it is a tease, just book an event and enjoy the AVP experience for yourself!

Misc:  Daily pole and erotic fitness lessons were taught the HOT Habi, who is a fitness expert and bikini competitor.  Her exotic features and tight physique warranted double and triple takes!  Tyson the gym manager (who is a shredded beast) did one of Habi’s workouts and was challenged…in a fun way J.

DJ Liquid G and his gorgeous Lady Jenn, kept the pools and night club jumping with the hottest music that set the tone wherever he was spinning.  He also set the stage on fire with his own personal striptease during Talent Night…who said white guys can’t dance? J

There was a blonde bombshell-hair/beauty stylist, with some massive “sweater-puppets” named Amanda “#1” running around doing hair/make-up for the gorgeous models and talent that will be featured in upcoming promotional pics/vids.  As the right-hand woman of Lady Dee, Amanda was central in assisting AVP throughout the week, she deserves a round of applause!

The Hostesses (AKA…Kamasutra Drink Bitches) were scantily clad yet very tasteful and sexy as they paraded around the pools and beaches giving shots and eye candy to all the guests.  Rebeca, Desirae, Jackie, Habi, Kristina/Amanda “#2” (when not directing the photo/video promos) and of course my favorite Deena J who can drop that money-maker like nobody else.

Tanya Smith Boudoire Photography (www.facebook.com/TanyaSmithBoudoirPhotography) was very busy doing erotic photo sessions for couples throughout the resort, might I also mention….she NEEDS to be in front of a camera!  She is SMOKING and her own personal outfits for the week?  Let’s just say her “ass-out” denim chaps are still being talked about.  Mark is a lucky guy, thanks for sharing a glimpse of your daily view with us!

Kat and Darren, the very attractive owners of The X Club, Toronto’s premier LS establishment “Where Mainstream meets Open-Minded,” were mixing and mingling with all in attendance.  We certainly intend on traveling north of the border to visit this establishment and party with all of our new found Canadian friends!

Regrets:  We packed twice the amount of clothes than we actually wore.  We didn’t take enough pictures…but that’s ok because we were so busy living in the moment!  We should have booked a day or two, before and after the week….in essence for a warm-up and cool down.

In conclusion: Notice how there was no mention of our specific activities?  Well what happens at Hedo….Never happened!  The mystic and aura of this magical place should never be told….only experienced!  Thank you Lady Dee and Sarge, the AVP Team, the Hedo staff and all the sexy guests that make Kamasutra Week a do not miss event EVERY year.
