Hedonism Jamaica has been creating stories and uniques memories for the adult couples and singles all over the world for more than three decades. This blog speaks about the evoluction of Hedonism.
Hedonism Jamaica also known as Hedonism II is located on the beautiful, world-renowned seven-mile white sand beach in Negril Jamaica.Hedonism was established in 1975, formerly known as Negril beach Village, as a place where young adults could go, mainly singles, and experience a wild sexually adventurous vacation. Hedonism Jamaica quickly became a gold mind for the owners, Superclubs Resorts, as this tropical playground, became the go to spot for young adults in North America, looking to experience one of the many stories they were told by friends & friends of friend who visited the property.
Among the things you could look forward to at Hedonism Jamaica was, wild costume parties such as; Mardi gras parties, Pajama Parties, bare as you dare parties and the very popular toga party. These costumes were mostly very outrageous and revealing sometimes leaving absolutely nothing to the imagination. This was totally ok however, as clothes was not necessary in most locations at the hotel as it provided a totally nude option, known as the nude beach, or a clothing optional side known as the prude beach. This meant little to no clothes at dinner was hardly a shocker.
The audience at Hedonism started changing as Swinger groups from all over the world started hearing about this wild judgment free hotel, where anything goes, and it became a haven for them as swinging was mostly frowned upon in most societies and those engaged in such activities had to do so in hiding out of fear of losing jobs and ruining relationships.
By the 1990’s Hedonism Jamaica now became more than sixty percent swingers and the stories started to get even more explicit. What you would see at Hedonism now became more than just outrageous costumes and the occasional public sex, now orgies and fetish practices became the norm in public and private areas. Everything you could imagine from a sexual point of view, you would witness at Hedonism.
The resort grew so popular as swingers from all over the world flocked the resort through the months of January to June, that Hedonism Negril, now became two hotels, as they had to open Hedonism III in Ocho Rios Jamaica to accommodate the overflow of visitors.
Hedonism started drawing attention from Playboy TV, penthouse and other adult mediums, and partnerships with those media outlets, made the hotel one of the most infamous places in the world you can visit, and it was no longer a safe haven for those who visited because Hedonism Jamaica had now gained a reputation for being a wild, sexually explicit venue for swingers. Now when you visit a Hedonism Resort, you would have to tell your friends you were visiting another hotel in Negril if you do not want them to know what you were up to.
For over a decade both Hedonism Resorts in Jamaica dominated the clothing optional market for swingers and any other adventurous adult who find themselves more on the open-minded side of the scale, and are looking to have an uninhibited type of vacation.
By 2005 however, other hotels such as Desire Resorts in Mexico started providing strong competition, with their upscale brand of clothing optional resorts, while at the same time, Hedonism Jamaica was starting to gain a bad rap, as the amenities at this time were run down and the owners instead of reinvesting, choose to use the money to expand into other resorts not catered to the same market.
By 2012 Hedonism III was sold and Hedonism in Negril was the only one standing. Hedonism Jamaica, which is now only includes Hedonism II, was sold to new owners in March of 2013 and they are now undergoing a massive facelift and will soon be back to the good old Hedonism that was once so loved by thousands world wide.
